Radio Frequency (RF) Remote Control

With 1 Channel RF Remote, single channel can be programmed to operate a single shade only or all shades at the same time.

With 5 Channel RF Remote, 4 channels can be programmed to operate individual shades or different groups of shades - the 5th channel operates all shades.

Channel programing should be specified when placing order.

Remote control utilizes one 3V Lithium Disc Battery.

Radio Frequency RF Wall Switch Option

The RF System has an optional wall switch in white or ivory.

Switch is easy to install with a standard single gang electrical box and does not require any wiring.

RF System Timer

RF System Timer allows you to set specific times for shades to be raised or lowered.

Single channel - operates all shades at the same time within one group of shades; will not operate multiple groups of shades.

Timer can be programmed to operate at the same time each day or different times every day. It has a security function that will raise or lower shades randomly to give the impression of an occupied home.

Commands are transmitted via radio, so external wiring is not necessary.

Timers use 2 AAA alkaline batteries.

Radio Frequency (RF) Battery Wand

Battery wand is white in color

Motor comes with (1) 16-1/2" wand

Larger shades come with (2) 16-1/2" wands

Each wand comes with (8) AA Lithium batteries

Standard - single and dual battery wands mount to backside of headrail onto clips.

Note: With battery wand(s) mounted to backside of headrail, allow for extra 1" of depth clearance for IS/OS mount (total depthincluding headrail = 2-3/4")

Option - externally mount to wall or window sill, must be specified when placing order.

Note: when externally mounting wands to wall or window sill, be aware that wands come with standard 8" cable for attaching to motor; If longer distance is required, optional 48" or 96" extension cable available.

Extended Life Batteries

Lithium batteries should last 2 to 5 years depending on size of shade and frequency of operation.

Note: battery life will be reduced with larger shades and/or more frequent shade operation (more than 2 operating cycles per day).

Battery Replacement

Battery wands are permanently sealed to ensure long lasting quality performance, therefore, replacement batteries cannot be fitted into wand. You will need to purchase replacement battery wands.

RF Plug-In Transformer (12v)

Optional feature eliminates the need for batteries.

The transformer plugs into a standard wall outlet and connects to the motor using a 25 ft cord.

Factory cannot adjust cord length. Cord length can be adjusted at installation - minimum length 3 feet.

Battery Wands not necessary with plug-in transformer.
