Shown above is the window treatment that was awarded first place in the Specialty Windows category at the 1998 International Window Coverings Expo in Baltimore. Tami Green, one of the Window Fashion Designers at The Blind Alley, designed this award winning treatment featuring swags and cascades with Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shadings. Here is a wonderfully formal dining room

Here is a very elegant corner window treatment combining the top treatment, a Kingston valance, with decorative lining, and Hunter Douglas Duette Shades for privacy. This formal dining room setting is enhanced by the classic silk draperies and traditional hardware. This semi-formal living room features an Empire valance with cascades and Hunter Douglas Country Woods blind. Bath with wrapped pole swag and etched design on the glass. Classic swag and cascades on tall, narrow window. Deco-fold Roman shades. Side panels using tieback holders only for support. Side panels puddled on the carpet with a matching shaped cornice. Velvet side-panels with Damask swags, with and without trim, all on a brass rod with cut-glass finials to match the chandelier. Jacquard swags and panels with a center jabot suspended from a fluted decorative rod and finials. Using two fabrics to create a very elegant pole swag with tassels created out of one of the fabrics. All over a Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shading. This décor rod is not just functional, it is the focus of the window treatment that also features side-panels and pennants with tassels. Another pole swag in a heavy Damask pattern, a simple bronze pole and filigree finials. Silk draperies on wood poles with gathered pennants and extra-long Bullion fringe. Linen casement draperies and ties, with box-pleat valances accent the Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shadings. Swags and cascades on a 3" diameter fluted wood pole with leaf-crowned finials. Shown here are tab-topped silk panel draperies, tied back over Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shadings. Double swagged pole swags with soft-fold panels accent this leaded glass window. This window features an Empire valance with tabs, mounted from a wood pole, with banding and sloped side panels. A box-pleat valance with contrasting lining that matches the full draw draperies and full sheers. Stair-step cornice boards with sheer side panels tied with cording that matches the piping on the cornices. Here is a pole swag in silk with beaded trim on a rod that matches the chandelier. Silk draperies on wood poles with bustles in silk Damask fabric. Traditional Swags, side-panels and traversing sheer draperies. Stationary side-panels with tiebacks over plantation shutters.
