Duolite™: Two fabric panels are used - one between the top rail and center rail and one between the center rail and bottom rail. Each panel has its own set of lift cords so either fabric panel, or portion of a fabric panel, may be used to cover a window. Typically, a semi-opaque fabric is the top panel and a blackout fabric is the bottom panel.

Valance color choices have been dramatically increased from 13 to 124 for the ultimate in color coordination.
Cordless Operable Sidelights: The perfect solution for those narrow, hard-to-cover windows. Skylights provide rooms with a brighter, more open and airy feeling often not possible with standard windows. However, skylights also have the potential to allow sunlight in that can often overheat your rooms. Hunter Douglas has three brands that offer a solution for covering your skylights: Duette® and Applause® honeycomb shades and Brilliance® pleated shades. Operated manually on any slope, or in any orientation, the fabrics can be specified to stack at the top, bottom or either side. Duette and Applause have the added benefit of using the Skyrise® lifting system, with Duette offering a switch-control or remote-control motorized option as well. Breezy Cleaning Care and Cleaning: Durability is a hallmark of Hunter Douglas Applause honeycomb shades. The strong, anti-static fabrics repel dust and dirt. Consequently, they require little cleaning and maintenance. Regular dusting with a feather duster is all that's necessary in most circumstances. For a more thorough cleaning, the fabric can be lightly vacuumed with a brush attachment. Sponge or Spot Cleaning: When needed, all Applause fabrics can be cleaned by gently blotting with a soft, damp cloth or sponge, using lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to the fabric. Take special care when cleaning blackout fabrics to avoid creasing. Basin or Bathtub Cleaning: For Applause Standard or EasyRise headrails only. Do not immerse any other headrails. To clean the entire shade, immerse the assembly in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and move it around lightly with your fingers. Wash for about five minutes, then rinse with clean water. Close the shade before removing it from the rinse water. Holding the rails, tilt the shade to allow excess water to escape. Re-install the damp shade back into the window opening and lower the shade all the way to allow it to dry completely. Important Cautions: Do not immerse Applause blackout fabrics. Do not immerse Applause Skyrise shades. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Professional ultrasonic cleaning is generally a very safe and effective method for comprehensively cleaning a Hunter Douglas Applause honeycomb shade. However, the shade should be handled carefully and only mild cleansing solutions should be used. In addition, the fabric should be in a stacked or closed position when being removed from the tank so that water cannot become trapped in the honeycombs. Important Cautions: Do not ultrasonically clean Hunter Douglas Applause blackout fabrics. Do not ultrasonically clean Applause EasyRise or Skyrise shades. The On-Site™ Injection/Extraction Cleaning Process can be used on these (and all other) Applause fabrics.
