The metal roller tube on all shades is always wrapped with fabric, even when fully lowered. Available in 9 coordinating colors. When the faux wood upgrade is selected, it is used in place of the standard bottom bar. With the addition of a 2" designer tape trim, you can accentuate your Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades with color and texture. Available in 3 styles: Grosgrain, Herringbone and Grosgrain Stripe. When the designer tape trim upgrade is selected, it is used in place of the standard bottom bar. The designer tape trim is placed along the bottom of the shade. Your Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades would not be complete without the classic decorative hem with petite gimp trim, available in 7 hem styles. With plain hems, the fabric-wrapped bottom bar is the bottom of the shade. Plain hems are often the preferred way to finish the bottom of the shade when it’s important to minimize light gaps on inside mounted applications. Decorative hems can leave light gaps between the sill and the trim even when the shade is in the fully lowered position. In addition to plain hems, there are seven decorative hem styles to enhance the appearance of the bottom of the shade. All styles of the decorative hem include a color-coordinating petite gimp trim. Most hem styles extend the fabric below the bottom bar of the shade. Choose from 10 coordinating colors to add the finishing touch to a decorative hem. The petite gimp trim is attached to the bottom edge of the hem. All Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades come complete with color-coordinated hardware in 1 of 5 standard finishes to best coordinate with the fabric selection. The metal roller tube on all shades is always covered by fabric, even when fully lowered. The bottom rod is also wrapped in fabric. In accordance with the revised American National Standard for Safety of Corded Window Covering Products, shades with beaded cord loops require proper mounting of the cord tensioner for the product to function properly. The cord tensioner should not be modified in any way.The standard clutch system features a continuous cord loop and cord tensioner. A shade can easily be positioned at any level with precise manual control. Dual Roller Shades The new Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shade Dual Roller application offers 2 shades in 1 cassette with independent operation. Choose fabrics of varying opacity for maximum privacy and light control. Each shade operates independently using its own standard clutch with continuous beaded cord loop. The most common installations are single, double-hung and casement-style windows. Individual shades can be installed across large window areas as well. Never before have you seen such light control in a roller shade. Choose fabrics of varying opacities for optimum light control and privacy. During the day, lower the sheer to keep the view and reduce intense ultraviolet rays. In the evening, simply lower the room-darkening shade for privacy. Cordless Standard Lifting System The new Cordless lifting system for Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades features a revolutionary spring mechanism that allows you to release the shade and have it raise gently to the top of the window or it may be stopped at varying intervals by holding on to the tassel as the shade rises.
Cordless shades mounted side-by-side may not “stop” at the same height when installed. However, the “stop” height is adjustable by rotating the built-in dial control located on the right side of the shade. No cords means enhanced safety for children and pets! You may choose 1 of 2 decorative pulls to accent your Hunter Douglas Cordless Designer Roller Shades. Each of the pulls are available in 7 beautiful finishes.
