Mounting Options & Applications Hunter Douglas Nantucket™ Window Shadings can be mounted inside or outside the window opening. They can also be end mounted. Nantucket shadings can be ordered in single panel widths up to 109" and heights up to 120".

The continuous cord loop allows for adjustment of the fabric vanes from open to closed and anywhere in between. Note: The degree of maximum vane closure varies slightly from the top to the bottom of the shading. Vane Opening - Open Hunter Douglas Nantucket™ window shadings suspend fabric vanes between two sheer fabric facings and feature a selection of four casual fabrics, from solids to patterns, in neutrals, pastels and soft hues. Whether the vanes are tilted open, closed, or anywhere in between, you can invite in as much sunlight as you wish. When raised, these shadings completely disappear into the headrail for an unobstructed view.
Vane opening is the amount of unobstructed visibility between fully open vanes when looking through the shading at eye level. The vane opening for all Hunter Douglas Nantucket™ shading fabrics is 1-3/8". Vane Opening - Closed When the vanes of a Hunter Douglas Nantucket Window Shading are closed, they overlap each other, blocking the view. However, the vanes do not contact each other along the full length of the shading — they do not form a perfect seal against light leakage. This is most visible toward the bottom of the shading.
Vane closure is measured as the distance between the front and rear fabric facings 6" up from the lowest point of the bottom rail, with the shading fully lowered and the vanes closed. The vane closure for all Hunter Douglas Nantucket shading fabrics is 5/8" for shadings under 96" in height and 7/8" for shadings over 96" in height. Hold-Down Brackets
