Hunter Douglas Provenance® Woven Woods Control Options Standard Roman Shade with Valance is the traditional woven wood. Material attaches to the back of the headrail and raises in soft folds. When lowered completely, the material hangs flat. Standard 6˝" valance attaches to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware.
The lift cord is located behind the valance and in front of the shade material for easy access. Hunter Douglas Provenance® woven wood shades are also available as 2 or 3 shades on a single headrail.
Classic Style Roman Shade is another variation of the Standard Roman Shade, with the shade material attached to the front of the headrail to conceal the shade hardware without use of a valance.
The lift cord passes through a grommet in the shade material for easy access for inside mounts. As there is no shade fabric attached to the back of the headrail, hardware will be visible from outside the window.
Hunter Douglas Provenance® woven wood shades are available as specialty angle-top shades (for slanted ceilings or to create a dramatic effect). Clutch Operated Roman Shade with its continuous cord loop makes raising and lowering Hunter Douglas Provenance® woven wood shades effortless, and child-safe as well!

Top-down/bottom-up shades offer additional privacy and light options. Provenance top-down/bottom-up shades let light in and maintain your privacy by lowering from the top and raising from bottom. They have two sets of cords and tassels to operate top down and bottom up. Raise your shade normally from the bottom up and/or lower it from the top down for room lighting while maintaining privacy. Provenance® woven wood shades are now available with four choices of both light-filtering and room-darkening fabric in white, ecru, cocoa and black, all with white backing. Each privacy backing blends naturally with the exotic woods, reeds, bamboos and grasses of Provenance shades and provides superior light control, privacy and year-round energy efficiency. Hunter Douglas is also introducing the "classic" style woven wood shade. The shade fabric attaches to the front of the headrail, diminishing the need for a valance and creating a clean, sleek appearance. Oblong grommets in five coordinating colors - white, beige, brown, black and brass - reduce friction and are a unique complement to this "classic" shade. Only Hunter Douglas could capture the beauty of nature, add the practicalities needed for today's home and deliver it all together with Provenance® woven wood shades. Also available is an independently operated micropleat shade mounted behind your Hunter Douglas Provenance® woven wood shade which also adds privacy and light control.
Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Woods Decorative Options There are six decorative hem styles offered to enhance the appearance of the shade. The hem styles extend the fabric about 6" below the bottom rod of the shade. There is also an "overlay" style offered, with the trims on the shade - but without decorative cutout on the bottom hem, to eliminate light gap. You may also choose from three attractive trim styles to add the finishing touch to a decorative hem. The trim - Gimp, Loop or Brush - is attached to the bottom edge of the hem. All three trim types are available in coordinating colors.
Edge Banding Your treasured artwork is framed, so why not your window décor? Choose 1˝" banding for the left and right edges of your shade and valance, or perhaps complete the look by adding to the bottom edge of the shade and valance as well.
